Rob teaches drums, guitar, keyboards and bass. Lessons are taught in a recording studio environment which enables additional unique educational opportunities. We teach each lesson ourselves and don’t contract out to anyone else. Every effort is made to tailor instruction to each student. Personal relationships with students and parents are important to us. Lessons are 40 dollars for a half hour lesson. Lessons are typically once a week but can occur more often if it is right for the student. Rob organizes his students into bands that meet once a month instead of the regular lesson for that week. This gives the students an opportunity to practice and develop the skills necessary to play music with other musicians. In May each band plays a show. Rob’s lessons are designed to help students love music and be able to play the kind of music they enjoy. This involves teaching songs as well as a balance of theory, technique, and reading.
